A creative mind - David has since very young had a curious perspective.

From playing instruments since 5 years old, to delving into photoshop and Illustrator for a year 3 maths assignment, back when you didn’t have to pay per month for everything (turning a learn to factorise poster into a superhero poster; MAX FACTOR).
Leaving school he followed an engineering path working finding ways to improve and solve problems with robotics for the medical, food and manafacturing industries.
One day by the means of a camera and a trip to Europe, David found himself discovering his medium for creativity - starting his employment for Emirates capturing holiday locations around the world. Following this by for a short time having the honour of assisting and developing his skills with one of the all time great fashion photographers - Peter Lindbergh.
Unfortunatley this was brought to an end with the passing away of his younger brother. Leading to the creation of his first short film (sponsored by Olympus) ‘The Darkroom’ which encountered much success by winning multiple short film festival awards including a showing in Cannes.
CUT TO:
EXT. STREET CAFE - DAY
David, 29 with short touseled mousy brown hair and curated stubble which connects the edges of his furrowed brow to his mouth, holds a slight ponderous lip bite looking around taking in the view while picturing his next line.
He starts typing again with a purposeful gait.
SCENE CONT.
DAVID
I’ve been lucky to be blessed with success, though it has been many hours of practice, failures, wins and experimenting to get where I am.
Many of the personal work and clients I’ve worked with have allowed me to create new and interesting things in Stills and Motion.
Such as Nike, LG, Tiffany and Co., Nivea, Tourism Italy, Sydney Dance Co., Vogue Italia, Elle Denmark, Coates Hire, JLL, Mirvac, Tassal, Harley Davidson, SONY, Jagged Little Pill, Theatre Royal, Malthouse Theatre, Olympus and More.
With shoots being held in Australia and abroad in places such London, NYC, LA, Chicago, Japan, Italy and Paris.
Since the Darkroom I’ve also optioned one & sold one script to major hollywood studios. One animation and another live action based on exisiting work. The goal being to direct/showrun long form while continuing to create art between projects.
Thanks for giving me your time and enjoy the images and motion on the following pages.
